Bothered

One of my pet peeves is an automated bathroom. If the spout freaks, you get a continual stream of water that no plain Jane can fix by turning the handle. Often, the water is extremely hot or extremely cold. Automated flushing mocks the abilities of the common man, while typically either flushing far too many times (thus wasting water) or never flushing and defeating the purpose of the mechanism. I feel like doing things the old fashioned way and making sure to wash your hands thoroughly should be sufficient. Here lies a continuation of my doubt of unneeded technology.
